Ode to MotherhoodI am the super hero mother of two. I am the mender of banged up boo boos. The dryer of broken hearted tears The one to whisper away all their fears. I am the one that they run to hug. I am the giver and getter of love.

I've been having bad dreams lately. For the life of me, I cannot remember them when I wake up. I'm just left with a consuming emptiness that is fear. I hate being alone. It drives me nuts. Bananas even. Maybe Banana nuts.
*sighs*
My point is, it's just rough on me. I've changed. I've learned to do it by myself again. I've taught myself to sleep alone, eat alone, breathe alone, and be alone. What do I do when it goes back the way it was before? I'll be changed. I'll have to adapt. I just hate it.
